Day 1. We start our Chimborazo Climbing Tour 2 Days leaving from your location at 10:00am previously we will check our Climbing Gear and proper clothes. After two hours driving in the highway, we can take our lunch and then continue for two hours more to get to the Chimborazo entrance gate. Right here. A quickly registration process and twenty minutes more, we are in the parking lot. Chimborazo’s first refuge Carrel, at 4800 m. / 15.749 ft. A hike up for one hour with all the gear to get the second refuge Whymper at 5000 m / 16.405 ft. Option 1. Three hours to the high camp 5350m /17716fT. Option 2. In addition, some safety recomendations and rope’s introduction by our guide. Time for dinner and finally, a chance to rest before to start our Chimborazo Climbing Tour 2 Days.
PS. High camp at 5350m increases the chance to have a succesful summit. This isn’t included in our packege but ask for this extra supplement.
Chimborazo Climbing Tour 2 days
Day 2. Around midnight, we start our Chimborazo Climbing Tour 2 Days. This first step takes us around three hours that we reach the glacier and then get to El Castillo peak (5350 m. / 17.553 ft.) In fact, a hike up four hours to get to the first summit Veintimilla and finally two extra hours to get the real summit Wymper 6310m. I great time to enjoy 360* perspective and then the hardest time to going down to the base. lunch is provided in the road and come back to Quito city around at 15:00pm.
